Terrorism

Terrorism is the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. At present, the International community has been unable to formulate a universally agreed, legally binding, criminal law definition of terrorism. Common definitions of terrorism refer only to those violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (civilians). Some definitions also include acts of unlawful violence and war. The history of terrorist organizations suggests that they do not select terrorism for its political effectiveness. Individual terrorists tend to be motivated more by a desire for social solidarity with other members of their organization than by political platforms or strategic objectives, which are often murky and undefined.

The Time Is Now: Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan talks about our problems today, in 1980, thirty years ago. High taxes, high unemployment, lack of domestic oil, and international chaos are not unique to the Obama regime. Reagan addresses them all in his acceptance speech for candidate for president of the US at the RNC in 1980.

The only edits I made was to remove applause. The words are as he spoke them at the RNC in July of 1980.

For those of you at odds with the direction Obama is taking our country, watch and listen. Reagan was right then and is right now.
