When Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif. heard John Hofmeister’s response to her demand to guarantee the prices consumers pay will go down if the oil companies are allowed to drill wherever they want off of U.S. shores, she had a bit of a meltdown.

Senator Richard Durbin is out bashing oil companies again and took credit for a new Federal Trade Commission probe into record fuel prices. Evidently he has not read the results of past reports…
